John R. Albers, 76, is Chairman and CEO. Mr. Albers is President and CEO of Fairfield Enterprises, an investment company specializing in startup companies. A former Chairman, CEO and President of the Dr Pepper/Seven-Up Companies, Albers’ previous medical investments included St. Jude Medical, Cardiac Pacemakers, and a board seat on Orthomed which sold to Wright Medical.
Tom Lally, 65, is President, a Director and Chief Technology Officer. Working through his company, Bindan Corporation ("Bindan"), Lally originally invented a binder for highway paving. On further investigation of applications of this adhesive property, the technology evolved into a medical application. Lally and Bindan were awarded the original patent for the BSI technology.
Tony Copp, Ph.D. (Economics), 62, is COO, a Director and leads in funding and strategic planning efforts. He was a former V.P., Manager of the Petroleum Group at Salomon Brothers in New York, NY. Following his time with Salomon Brothers, Copp became Vice President of Corporate Finance for Ray Hunt's enterprises, largely Hunt Oil Company, the world's largest independent oil Company for 17 years. Forming Copp Ventures in 1997, Copp has worked with John Albers on a blood container device for military uses for a Company named Thermo Solutions and is presently a Consultant for a medical imaging company. He has raised over $2 billion in his finance career.
Stephen A. Schendel, MD., DDS, is Chief Medical Officer and is involved in all aspects of the current FDA testing, including his own lead on maxillofacial/cranial testing. Dr. Schendel has been behind the success of several orthopedic companies, and is acknowledged as one of the top 5 maxillofacial experts in the world. He has been on the full-time faculty of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University Medical School since 1989. He is Professor and former Chief of the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Stanford University Medical Center and Surgeon in Chief of Lucille Packard Childrens' Hospital. He is Director of the Craniofacial Surgery Program at Stanford and Director of Stanford-NASA National Biocomputation Center.
Jim McNamara, 67, is Treasurer, Secretary, and a Director, as well as a shareholder in Bindan Corporation. He is responsible for the financial, accounting, treasury functions, secretarial functions and budget planning of BSI. He has been Director of Marketing at Telular Corporation, a publicly held company. He was an Executive for the IBM Corporation in marketing, and was Director of Finance and Planning for the IBM Marketing Group and Planning for IBM Europe.
The final two corporate Board members, who have invested in the Company, are national and international medical device senior sales executives, Drew Diaz and Wade Hampton. Mr. Diaz and Mr. Hampton have focused on the marketing strategy for BSI. Mr. Hampton, is currently Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Accuray, Inc., the manufacturer of CyberKnife, a robotic radiosurgery system used for non-surgical treatment of cancer tumors throughout the body. Prior to Accuray, Mr Hampton was Senior Vice President of the Americas for Lumenis Inc., the world's largest manufacturer of medical lasers. Mr. Hampton has also worked at Coherent Medical and Johnson & Johnson.
Mr. Diaz is currently the Senior Vice President of World Wide Sales and an officer for Criticare Systems Inc., a publicly held US-based manufacturer of medical monitoring instruments that designs, manufactures and markets vital signs and gas monitoring instruments and related noninvasive sensors used to monitor patients in many healthcare environments. Prior to Criticare systems, Mr. Diaz worked for Strato Medical (Pfizer's implant division), organizing and managing a distributor network for the Southwest US region, based in Dallas, Texas. He has also been District Sales Manager for DeRoyal Industries, covering the Texas market for operating room disposables.
Dr. Alicia L. Bertone, D.V.M., is Chairman of the Scientific Advisory Board and a shareholder in BSI. Dr. Bertone has led the research studies for BSI on OsteoCrete™, developed the key research papers for presentation at ORS/AAOS meetings, and has been coordinating with NAMSA on the FDA protocol testing for BSI’s bone void filler. She has also been a keynote speaker for BSI at several venture capital forums. Dr. Bertone is Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Ohio State University, and the Trueman Chair of Orthopedics. She is a member of the American College of Veterinarian Surgery, and completed a recent fellowship at Harvard University in molecular orthopedics and gene therapy. She has published over 200 scientific papers, and has given technical presentations most recently at the 2004, 2005 and 2006 ORS/AAOS meetings.

Dr. Richard Steadman head of the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Colorado and world famous for his knee surgery expertise;
Dr. Thomas Wilson, Dallas, TX, a leading periodontist in the industry and author of graduate student books on periodontics. He is coordinating current research at the University of Texas at San Antonio Dental School in testing OsteoCrete™ as a adhesive dental implant;
Dr. James B. Montgomery, head of Orthopedic Specialists in Dallas, Texas and a sports medicine specialist;
Dr. Tarek Souryal, head of the Texas Sports Medicine Clinic and chief physician for the Dallas Mavericks professional basketball team;
Dr. Mike Pikos, head of the MAP Implant Institute, and a world expert on dental implants, Palm Harbor, FL;
Dr. John Russo, international lecturer and global expert on dental implants and oral surgery, Sarasota, FL;
Dr. Edward Mills, director
of the Atlanta Center for Restorative Dentistry, Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Scott Rodeoof the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, has been a member of the BSI Advisory Board, but to eliminate any potential conflict voluntarily resigned to be free to develop and pursue specific research projects using the BSI technology. Dr. Rodeo participated in the poster presentation at the 2008 ORS/AAOS meetings on his research with BSI technology and this presentation has also been accepted in the American Journal of Sports Medicine relating to the adhesive qualities of OsteoCrete™ for publication in 2008.
As its full-time regulatory advisor and clinical testing consultant, BSI has
retained the regulatory services of Boston Biomedical Associates, www.boston-biomedical.com,
("BBA") and Mr. Leo L. Basta, their managing
partner. Boston Biomedical is actively engaged today in reviewing the full
protocols to be followed for the various FDA 510 (k) approvals for filler,
cement, and anchoring device and is reviewing the initial filing for FDA
approval for bone void filler. Mr. Basta, formerly of Boston Scientific, is the
lead BBA consultant for BSI.

Other Marketing/Sales Personnel: BSI has interviewed several individuals who will be considered as the initial core sales managers for its product lines reporting to an Executive VP for Sales and Marketing. Their primary responsibilities will be to introduce the products into key markets, and/or to work with the leading doctors in their respective fields and as appropriate designated distributors to help introduce the product into markets, or to work with a Joint Venture partner (not yet defined) and its staff to use the product successfully.
